Established in 1840, Dennys originally traded from a single shop in Soho, serving the local hotel and restaurant trade. Dennys now sells worldwide and has become a leading force in design and technical manufacture of catering clothing. In 2013 Dennys Brands was awarded a Royal Warrant by HM The Queen as suppliers of catering clothing to the Royal Household.

In 2016 Dennys finally opened a second retail store in Berners Street, just off Oxford Street, London. Dennys also continues to trade form the store in Dean Street, Soho, mail order from the head office in Leatherhead, Surrey and through the website.
