The Kids’ Cookery School (KCS) is a registered charity giving children and young people the skills and knowledge needed to make healthy food choices for themselves.

Over the last 20 years KCS has taught over 136,000 children this vital life skill, in the knowledge that this will have further impact, beyond that one child, to their families and ultimately to creating a healthier community and society. KCS teach children, aged 3-18 years, regardless of background, learning or physical ability, how to cook delicious, healthy food completely from scratch.

In addition to their cookery school, in 2009, KCS rolled out a mobile pop-up kitchen; KCS-on-Wheels.

KCS-on-Wheels is a mobile pop-up cooking facility that allows them to go out and deliver hands-on cookery sessions, at any given venue or space, with minimal requirements, therefore allowing the school to teach all over the country. KCS empowers all students to take control of their own lives, by understanding the importance of what they eat and drink and the long-term impact it will have on their lifestyle, wellbeing and mental health.
