Tiptree Patisserie Trainee Baker Award
The Tiptree Patisserie Trainee Baker Award is the brainchild of Daren McGrath, Managing Director of Tiptree Patisserie and long-standing judge for the Tiptree World Bread Awards with Brook Food, in his commitment to encouraging the next generation of bakers.
The winner of the Tiptree Patisserie Trainee Baker Award will enjoy a day under the guidance of Daren at the artisan cake and patisserie bakery based in Witham, Essex. Here the winner will have the chance to work with their team of bakers, chefs and cake decorators and experience all aspects of this commercial bakery, and the individual skill and attention that goes into their baking.
The process of nominating is straightforward.
If you are a course tutor or employer of apprentices, you may nominate up to three trainees for this award.
Please write a maximum of 100 words to say why your nominee deserves to be singled out for this special accolade. Qualities we are looking for include dedication to their craft, technical skill, and creativity.
